Let's the Games Begin

The good word from the team is that the day is BEAUTIFUL and hot! Water bottles are in abundant supply. The team is positive and working well together. Hearty breakfast this morning, followed by devotions. We took a quick tour of the downtown area and learned about the Mayan influence and history of the city.We have quite a cultural experience. I encouraged them to participate and pay attention as if their moms were there watching. Of course they all listened intently. :) We are now at the church and the school practicing our presentations and preparing our crafts. Lunch is at 1:00! Smells great. The VBS programs will run this afternoon and we will gather again this evening at the church for dinner and debrief. I will leave you now and keep you on the edge of your seats until I once again find myself with access to high technology. Have I told you all that your kids are great?! Everyone of them!
